Road Transport Solutions
We design customised road transport solutions. Thanks to our network of 21 Transit Points and 19 yards, we can guarantee delivery within 24 hours nationwide. The vehicles we use for road transport are large fleets of car transporters and individual mobile units such as semi-trailers, tractors and vans.

Large fleets of car transporters
For the execution of road transports, our strong point for several generations has certainly been the car transporter. We commissioned the first car transporter under the Bertani brand in the early 1950s.
The car transporter is one of the most flexible and practical ways of transferring vehicles, as by grouping shipments of 8 to 10 vehicles at a time, it allows us to reduce delivery costs.
Today, Bertani’s large fleet of car transporters has 600 vehicles in operation that are periodically overhauled.

Rail Transport Solutions
We study logistical solutions for rail transport. In this case, the goods are loaded directly onto the train, which has open double-decker wagons. Alternatively, goods can be loaded into an intermodal transport unit (ITU), such as a semi-trailer, swap body or container. In this case, several forms of transport are combined: road and rail.
RAIL TRANSPORT
Double-decker open wagons
Double-deck open wagons are open wagons consisting of a lower deck and an upper deck that can accommodate vehicles on two levels.
These decks are delimited by side walls and stakes to hold the load and provide stability for the goods.
The open car transporter looks like a wagon made in the shape of a car carrier on which vehicles are loaded ready to be unloaded and delivered.
